It is now the end of February.
Do you know what that means?
That’s right!!! Pretty much everyone had either failed or given up on their New Year’s Resolutions.
It’s alright. Don’t feel too bad, I did too.
New Year’s Resolutions suck anyway. It’s so hard to stick to them when they’re so… vague. And easily interpret depending on your moods.
Like the US Constitution. 😉
Anyway, it’s easy you passed or failed your resolutions when the resolutions is a little something like this:
2016 New Year’s Resolutions
- Eat healthier.
- Exercise more.
- Spend less money.
This is pretty much setting up yourself to fail whether you pass or fail your resolutions.
If you only exercise one time in 2015, exercising twice in 2016 pretty much mean you can check that off the list. The same with eating healthier and spend less money and other comparative resolutions. Stop making your resolutions so vague.
Better yet, stop making them at all.
Instead, make New Year’s Goals.
- Exercise 3x a week.
- Finish 30 days yoga challenge.
- Have 5,000$ in saving account by the end of the year.
- Only have 1 soda a week. (I’m totally BS-ing this one, I don’t drink soda, it taste like acid to me.)
Having concrete goals helps you to accomplish them.
Give it a try and let me know how you do.
